In just after week 2, you’re already making transactions looking to improve your roster wherever you can. There has been a slew of injuries that are leaving you looking for a Plan B or your top draft picks are already letting you down. Here are the top waiver moves after week 2.
There are some concerns for RGIII owners. Although he’s actually put up solid back-to-back 20+ point games in week 1 and week 2, Robert Griffin III has been awful in the first half and clearly should take the blame for the losses in both weeks. His mechanics are off because of the knee injury and he’s afraid to get hit. There’s already talk that if the Redskins go 0-3, Shanahan should bench RGIII until he’s healthy and go with Kirk Cousins. Redskins fans are already calling for Cousins. If there is a QB controversy in Washington, you better start looking elsewhere for a reliable backup if you don’t already have one.
At the top of the QB waiver wire, I would take Philip Rivers. Rivers is looking good again despite not having a true #1 receiver. He has a bunch of roleplayers and he’s making it work. With a Malcom Flloyd, Eddie Royal, a healthy Antonio Gates, and now Danny Woodhead to work with on 3rd down, he has plenty of weapons at his disposal to work with. Ken Wissenhunt has been doing a great job with this offense and the Chargers offense should be back to the 27 PPG offense that we’ve been used to in year’s past when Rivers was a fantasy stud in the 2008-2011 years where Rivers averaged about 30 TD/year and threw for over 4,000 yards every single season. The Chargers are …

Antonio Gates comes into his week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans listed as questionable. Antonio Gates suffered a rib injury in week 1 against the Oakland Raiders. Gates was able to finish the game despite the hit to his ribs, but sat out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Gates’ history of injuries has fantasy owners concerned, but don’t be overly worried yet. It was a foot injury that has plagued Gates the last three years. This was merely a shot to the ribs that caused some soreness.
Gates was able to return to practice on Friday, although it was limited. Gates informed media outlets that he’ll physically and mentally ready to go this Sunday when his Chargers take on the Tennessee Titans, but he’s still experiencing some soreness in his ribs. During practice, Gates wore a protective vest.
I’m an Antonio Gates owner and willing to keep him in my starting lineup. If Gates is a last-minute scratch you should pick up Heath Miller on the waivers. Miller had 50 yards and a TD in week 1 and should be a quality tight end to pick up last minute since the Steelers face the Jets at home at the 4:00 spot.
Another plus for Antonio Gates is his matchup against the Titans D who didn’t have an answer for the Patriots tight end duo last week. The Titans gave up 12 receptions, 119 yards, and 2 TDs to the Patriots Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.…

Question: Should I start Adrian Peterson even though he is playing banged up?
Here is my current lineup:
QB: Eli Manning
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Roy Helu
Flex: Shonn Greene
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Stevie Johnson
TE: Jimmy Graham
D: 49ers
K: Gostkowski
BENCH
Adrian Peterson
Antonio Gates
Jets D
James Jones
Laurent Robinson
Willis McGahee
Nate Washington
Should I put in Adrian Peterson? I feel like I should, but don’t know which player to take out. They are all projected to do well, and Peterson is only 85% according to ESPN. Your insight is appreciated.
Answer:
Definitely start Adrian Peterson instead of Roy Helu. He said he’s coming back this week for his “fantasy owners”. I expect AP to be AP. He should be his usual self this week even at 85% and it’s not like the Saints have a good run defense either.

Question: I need help setting up my week 10 fantasy roster.
Here is my team.
QB – Pick 1
Matthew Stafford @ CHI
Tim Tebow @ KC
WR – Pick 2
Dez Bryant vs. BUF
Calvin Johnson @ CHI
Stevie Johnson @ DAL
Marques Colston @ ATL
Percy Harvin @ GB
RB – Pick 1
Michael Turner vs. NO
Adrian Peterson @ GB
Chris Johnson @ CAR
I allready had Antonio Gates the TE play he only produced 10 points for me I need to win this week any advice helps
Thanks.
Best answer:
How did you manage to draft all of those players? You must be in a league with 3 teams. You have Peterson, Chris Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Stevie Johnson, and Michael Turner? Impossible I say. It sucks you can only take 1 RB, but I would go with Adrian Peterson as Green Bay has had some inconsistencies against the run. At wide receiver, Calvin Johnson is the clear choice and I like Dez Bryant against that Buffalo defense.
What do you think? Answer below!…
