Question: I have a WR dillema for week 2.
I have 3 WR spots and a WR/TE flex spot this week. My WR’s are Wes Welker, Roddy White, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Lance Moore? Who would you sit?
Best answer:
I would go with Lance Moore. The Saints are playing the Panthers this week, who don’t have a very solid defense. Brees will be throwing a lot. Although Moore is Brees’ 4th option after Jimmy Graham, Colston, and Sproles, Brees still likes Moore who had 120 yards last week and 1 TD. Darrisu Heyward-Bey had a decent week 1, but I would go with Lance Moore who has a better matchup and a more impressive week 1.

It seems as if almost everyone has come to the conclusion that Larry Fitzgerald is the clear No. 2 wide receiver after Calvin Johnson. However, I’ve seen a few people rank Julio Jones as the No. 2 wide receiver. I think it’s a fair debate to argue that Julio Jones deserves the No. 2 wide receiver ranking. In fact, I have him ranked No. 2 over Larry Fitzgerald.
Here’s what I don’t like about Fitzgerald. His QB situation. Although he had the same QB situation in 2011 at had a monster season with 80 receptions, 1,411 yards, and 8 TDs, I rather have a receiver with a much better QB throwing him the football. The Falcons could easily be a scoring machine and the team to beat in the NFC outside of the Packers. The Cardinals will struggle to go .500. On the plus side, Fitzgerald had a much better 2nd half with Skelton as his QB compared to Kevin Kolb. All signs point to Skelton getting the starting job, who had much better chemistry with Fitzgerlad than Kolb.
Fitzgerald had a much better statistical season in 2011, but many feel that Julio Jones is going to breakout this season and go nuts this year. Julio Jones’ stats last season are 54 receptions, 959 yards, and 8 TDs (12 games). What I like with both players is their yards per reception. Julio Jones averaged 17.8 yards per receptions (ranked 7th) which is right on par with Fitzgerald’s 17.6 (ranked 8th), but Fitzgerald’s career average is 13.9.
Jones also had a hamstring injury nag him throughout the season which kept him out of 4 games. If Julio would have played in 16 games, his stats could have come out to 72 …

Question: I need some help picking my RB/WR/FLEX for week 12.
I’m in a 12-man PPR league.
RB: Peyton Hillis, Beanie Wells, Donald Brown, Danny Woodhead. (Pick 2)
WR: Roddy White, Andre Johnson, Mike Wallace, Santana Moss, Mike Thomas (Pick 2)
Flex: Anyone out of the RB or WR above. (Pick 1)
Thoughts? I have too many good WR to choose from and not enough RB choices. I am 6-5 so far this year, with 3 losses by under 10 points.
Best answer:
RB: I would go with Hillis and Woodhead.
WR: Start Roddy White, Andre Johnson and Mike Wallace. Those are all very easy choices. You have great wide receivers, but running back is a problem.
FLEX: Beanie Wells.

Question: Which WR should I start after Roddy White… Nate Washington or Deion Branch?
Which 2 wide receivers would you play? I have Roddy White, Nate Washington, Deion Branch, and Jabar Gaffney. Feel free to give your reason behind the choice as well. Thank you.
Best answer:
I would go with Deion Branch. Now that he’s back with Tom Brady, he’s a much better option than Nate Washington and Jabar Gaffney. Nate Washington will get lots of looks with Kenny Britt out. However, I would still take the receiver that’s paired up with Brady although Brady will mostly throw to Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski.

Question: Which RB should I start in week 4?
Since Adrian Peterson and Miles Austin are on their bye week, I have the option of playing Jahvid Best or Ahmad Bradshaw this week. However, since Best is somewhat injured and Bradshaw has to go against Chicago’s defense, I would have to assume im going to play Bradshaw, but I hate playing two players from the same team. I was going to play Hakeem Nicks at WR but my other options are Chad Johnson who hasnt done much or Malcolm Floyd. Any suggestions?
Answer:
Jahvid Best is probably still hurt so check his status on Sunday make your moves accordingly. I think Bradshaw is going to have a tough week, but if he’s the best option you have, he is the #1 RB for the Giants. I understand your concerns about having two players from the same team by playing both Nicks and Bradshaw, but sometimes it works in your favor, and at least it’s not players at the same position (I have Roddy White and Julio Jones on my team). You should expect solid production from either Nicks or Bradshaw.

Question: Do I start or sit Marques Colston in week 4?
Im currently starting Brandon Lloyd, Roddy White, and Nate Washington. I just picked up Marques Colston. Would you start him over one of my starting wide receivers or would you give him another week?
Answer:
You have a nice wide receiver corp. Colston has been out with a fractured collar bone for a while and may seem a bit soft at first. Give him a week to get back to full strength. I’m looking for him to put up big numbers later in the season.

Joesph Addai, Laurence Maroney, Reggie Bush, Roddy White, Roy Williams, Santonio Holmes
Answer
I would take Roddy White and Santonio Holmes as my wideouts, Reggie Bush and Laruence Maroney as my backs, and Addai in the flex. Sit Roy Williams. Guy has bust all over him.…
