Question:
I have the following players and am struggling to decide who to start and who to sit.
Vincent Jackson vs. WAS
Eric Decker vs. OAK
Steve Smith @ ATL
Willis McGahee vs. OAK
Cedric Benson vs. NO
I have Jackson/Decker/Benson starting for week 4 but wondering if I should make a change. Thanks!
Answer:
You have some great matchups to work with. I would go with Vincent Jackson and Eric Decker as my starting WRs since they are facing two poor defenses. Decker should have his first monster fantasy game of the season. Big Ben threw for over 300 yards on the Raiders last week since the Raiders corners are banged up. Peyton Manning will pick them apart.
If you’re deciding between Benson and McGahee at RB, I say you go Benson. McGahee has some banged up ribs and is listed as questionable so he may sit this game out or take limited snaps. Green Bay was feeding Benson the ball last week and that should continue as they’re facing the Saints, who have the worst run defense in the league and gave up over 200 yards to Jamaal Charles last week.
You got it right. Vincent Jackson, Eric Decker, and Cedric Benson are your guys for week 4.…

Question: Which player should I go with in week 2 at the flex?
Steve Smith @ CAR or Stevan Ridley vs. ARI
Answer:
I like Stevan Ridley. First, Steve Smith is listed as questionable with knee injury, but will be active. Although I expect the Saints vs. Panthers game to be a high-scoring shootout, Smith’s injury is still a concern for me. Steven Ridley, on the other hand, was spectacular in week 1 and will get the Pats goalline carries. Since the Pats are facing the Cardinals, that would lead to a lot of scoring opportunities for the Patriots. Ridley had 20 carries, 125 yards and 1 TD in week 1 against the Titans. Very impressive numbers.…

Question: Pick 2 for Week 15.
I need 2 WR this week, so I would like to know which 2 WR you would start and why!
Steve Smith @ HOU
Mike Wallace @ SF
Laurent Robinson @ TB
Mike Thomas vs. NE
Which 2 wide receivers would you pick and why?
Answer
Steve Smith is your best receiver based on what he’s been going with Cam Newton and there’s no question that you stick with Mike Wallace although it’s against a tough 49ers defense. Miles Austin is back from his injury, so I would say no to Laurent Robinson.…

Question: Week 15: Start/Sit advice Fantasy Football (FLEX)?
I need 2 WR this week, so who would you start out of this lineup?
Steve Smith @ HOU
Mike Wallace @ SF
Laurent Robinson @ TB
Devin Thomas vs. NE
Best answer:
You always have to go with your studs and your studs are Steve Smith and Mike Wallace. Thomas is hit or miss. Laurent Robinson is tempting, but you gotta live and die with your best players. Laurent Robinson had a great game last week against the Giants and he’s stepped up for the injured Miles Austin. I assume this is the playoffs. Tough luck that Wallace is up against the stingy 49ers defense and Ben Roethlisberger is banged up.

Question: Week 3 start and sit – Steve Smith (CAR) or Johnny Knox?
I have Wes Welker, Hakeen Nicks, Steve Smith (CAR) and Johnny Knox as WRs on my fantasy team. I am obviously going with Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks as my first two starters. I have to decide between Steve Smith and Johnny Knox.
Steve Smith gets a new QB and a tough CIN corner who shut down Randy Moss in week 1 and Anquan Boldin in week 2. Should I start Johnny Knox instead? What do you think?
Answer:
I don’t like the matchup the Chicago Bears have, so I would stick with Steve Smith. Johnny Knox hasn’t been as consistent. Although he has surprise upside with 100+ yard games, he also has an equal chance of being held to under 20 yards.

Question: In week 1, do I go with Steve Smith or Lee Evans?
I need a WR to play this week in my FLEX positio nand since I have no good RBs on my bench I decided to start either Steve Smith (CAR) or Lee Evans (BAL).
I personally don’t see the Ravens offense doing too much against the Steelers D. For the Panthers, Steve Smith is good, but I don’t know if I can rely on Cam Newton in his first start as a rookie to get the ball to Steve Smith, albeit against a poor Cardinals D. Just looking for some opinions.
Answer:
Go with Steve Smith. Believe me, Cam Newton will have an impressive year. Matt Ryan had a monster game in his NFL debut. I expect big things from Cam Newton. Yeah, he is a rookie QB and a terrible team, but Steve Smith is by far the best talent and I’m sure he’ll get his yards against the Cardinals. Evans, as you said, gets stuck with Pitt D and he may not even be able to put up any significant yardage.

Question: It’s week 14 and I’m in the playoffs. I just need one player to put into the FLEX position.
Pick one of the following players to start in my FLEX this week:
1.) Michael Turner (Q) vs. NO
2.) Kenny Britt vs. STL
3.) Steve Smith (NYG) vs. PHI
4.) Vincent Jackson @ DAL
Who would you pick and why?
Answer:
I think you need to wait a bit to find out Michael Turner’s status. If he plays, he’s a great start, because the Saints defense is very banged up and this game isn’t a lock for New Orleans. Meanwhile, it’s a must win for the Falcons if they want to have a shot at making the plays. If Turner is in the lineup for the Falcons, I would definitely start him.
The other no brainer is Kenny Britt. The Cardinals may have lost Otugwe for the rest of the season and their defense is terrible
